I had an unfinished business yesterday. I was scheduled to go to the grocery to purchase some items that my sister asked me to buy for her. I was about to leave the house when someone called. She informed me that she is from SM and she is offering a hospital health card. It is almost similar to a health card but instead, she's offering a hospital card wherein, once you avail of it, you can have a benefit of P1,000.00/day in case you get confined in any hospital. I am already aware of these telemarketers because I used to read about them. She was insisting that I avail of one but I told her that I already have a health insurance and it already covers the hospitalization. In addition to this, the company where G worked also gave me a health card which I can use anytime. I know insurances are important but at this time when the economy is unstable, it is just not the right time for me to avail one more. Maybe in the future but for now, I am already satisfied with the benefits that I am receiving from my insurance and health card.
