enjoying & reminiscing
I’m in Baguio again… after more than a year of not setting foot here, I am finally back to my home. It has served as my home ever since I was 8 years old. Since then, I keep moving back here.
When I arrived yesterday afternoon, I cannot contain my excitement. I finally saw the places where I spent most of my ‘single’ years again. I saw familiar places, houses, buildings and even faces. As soon as I dropped of my things, I immediately went out to go to mass. I love Baguio Cathedral. The first thing that I noticed was there were several renovations made inside the church. There were already television sets installed on every corner (serves as idiot boards), there was also a big screen set-up outside the church and there were more pews than usual. The bishop is still officiating the 6pm mass which used to be the last mass but now, there is already a 7pm mass (I hope I wasn’t confused on this). After that, I went to SM to buy a cake for my bro and his wife (I’m staying with them).
When I was about to sleep already, I thought of the best lodging places in the world. I thought of Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. My room in our apartment is similar to that. The bliss and the happiness that one experiences in this hotel is what I experienced again in my room... comfort, convenience and luxury.
