I have a revelation to make...
I still sleep with my mom and dad
I used to sleep on their bed (I sleep beside my mom) but not anymore now. I just sleep on a foam beside their bed, down on the floor. Since I went home last weekend in our house in Isabela, I was able to sleep with them again.
While everyone was sleeping, I went to answer the call of nature... when I went back to my bed I saw my mom and dad hugging each other (kainggit!, but maybe its because 'malamig' due to the aircon) I am so happy and proud that despite their age they still do this. That despite being married for more than 30 years already, they still call each other sweetheart and they still kiss each other. Despite all the things that they have experienced in the past, they are still together...
I just wish that they remain that way. That they grow older together... right now, when all of us their children are away from them, they just have each other again. I'll always pray for their good health... that they reach their 50th anniversary pa...
