When I went to Baguio last week, I met with my friend Chaste. It has been a routine already for us to meet every year, before or after her birthday. This year, we met before her birthday. Since we have a year of catching up to do, it took us a day to do it. We met before lunch and started updating already. While eating, I told her how my life has been. I shared my experiences of being a SAHW, staying with in-laws and practically everything about being a wife. We were at the restaurant for almost two hours. Later we transferred to a coffee house and continued chatting again. This time, it was her turn. She shared updates regarding her work, her family and her love life. I was very happy because after so many years, she finally found the one already. When we got tired, she remembered that we need to watch a movie because it was already a tradition for us. We chose to watch 'Fool's Gold' because I wasn't able to watch it in Manila. We ordered drinks and some food to munch. We also got popcorn. While watching and eating, I felt that the popcorn was too little for me (I just wished that there are popcorn machines so that I can cook popcorn anytime I wanted). After the movie, we went to eat again before finally ending the day. It was a great day for us because after a year, we were able to see each other again. We just wished that our other friends, Joy and Jilyn were also there with us.
