to fight or not to fight

I would say that I am a sports fanatic. Being born in a family where male members outnumber females members, I was raised to love sports for men like basketball and boxing. I would fondly remember, when I was younger, my uncles, brothers and other male cousins would tag me along to watch them play basketball. Often times, after the games, I'd witness boxing because they usually end up fighting with the other team members. Because of this, I grew up loving these sports.

The last fight that I was able to watched fully was the controversial fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Marquez. Our coverage was delayed that time because we don't have cable connections but still we were able to watch it clearly.

For the month of September, there will also be a rematch between Mayweather and De La Hoya. Their first fight happened almost a year ago at MGM Grand Arena. Mayweather won by split decision on their initial fight. That fight was one of the most profitable matches ever held. It generated $120 million revenue. The Mayweather vs De La Hoya tickets for the match were sold on January 27, 2007. Three hours after, all tickets were already sold out. This might happen again for the rematch. The tentative date is either set on September 13 or September 20. So if you are one of those who are really waiting to see this fight, better book your tickets early.
