memory upgrade
When it comes to the computer, I let G decide about it. Even if I have been using the computer for many years now, I am still not that familiar with regards to its parts and components (maybe because I always expect someone to do it for me). I know some terms but if you'll ask me to point it, I am not sure if I can give you the correct answer. So whenever G discusses about upgrading our memory, I just say yes to him. I remember that initially we had the 256mb memory but now he is already aspiring for a 2gb Memory Upgrade. I learned from him that it is not that easy looking for a compatible memory, especially if you are using the branded computers like Dell, IBM, HP. Whenever you are changing the memory of these units, you should be able to find kits with compatible modules. While surfing, he found Memory Deal. This is a site which offers different types of memory units like Apple Memory & MAC RAM.
G said that it is better to avail of the upgrade in terms of the memory, rather than purchasing new CPU. You can save at least a $100 if you avail of the upgrade. This savings is great for schools, government and other institutions which plan to upgrade but with limited budget. I think he recommended Memory Deal already to one of his clients (who became his friend along the way). The company is now looking for PC3200 DDR400 SDRAM Upgrade.
I still cannot understand this upgrade thing, all I know is that when G finally upgrades our CPU's memory he can already play the online game that he's been waiting for. Together with the memory, he will also upgrade the video card for better graphics of the game...
