hunting for a halloween costume

Halloween is not that 'well' celebrated here in the Philippines. But with the past years, more and more are trying to make Halloween a little bit different from what we used to think of it. It has been made to encourage people to dress up  for the said event. It is slowly starting with children who are visiting the malls on this occasion.

I have always envied my friends during Halloween time. I envy them when they keep themselves busy preparing for the halloween costume of their kids. Last year, I tried to dress up G's niece also. I let Keisha wear a beautiful gown with matching glass-like slippers. She was overjoyed with the experience that she even wanted to wear the gown to sleep. Unlike before, it is now easier to scout for possible Halloween costumes. There are already several stores that offer assorted types of Halloween costumes. There are even those stores that customized outfits just for the said event. Now that I am also becoming a parent soon, I want my child to experience the best Halloween too. I wanted him/her to have a great costume to start with. As early as now, I am already starting to browse for baby G's first Halloween. Since baby G will be about 9 months on his/her first Halloween, I am thinking of the Baby Blues Clues costume. It will definitely look good on baby G since it will cover his whole body.

To make the event more memorable and more fun, I'd also buy an adult halloween costumes for G. if baby will be Blues Clues, he might want to dress up as a celebrity as well. (I know that this is one of his greatest wish :p) I found this great site, the Costume Cauldron,  which offers Halloween costumes for everyone. Aside from adults, children, toddlers, baby costumes are likewise available. If you have pets, you can avail for their matching costumes here too. There are other categories for easier selection on their costumes too, like depending on accessories, etc. In addition to this, the site has a Haunted House part wherein you can avail of discount on several costumes. I might even save up for the costumes of my family. As for me, I might end up to be the photographer for the event and just watch them as they go trick or treat around the mall...
