house update 2
Our weekend was supposed to be a busy one. We have a lot of errands lined up but not much was accomplished. Saturday, we were supposed to visit our house early so that G can have his review in the afternoon. But since Frank's attack happened earlier, we had to wait for sometime before going out. We finally headed to Sta. Rosa at around 10:30 am already. When we arrived at the subdivision, we saw several people at the clubhouse. There was an on-going open house for Phase 3. Since we do not have any concerns there, we just went directly to our house. Good thing, a contractor of the unit was around so we were able to borrow the key from him. We were very much delighted with what we saw. The house is already almost finished. The house is already complete. We will just have to work on the interior before we can finally move in...
While looking at our 'home', I can't help but imagine the things that I wanted to put there. I have been looking for different styles of curtains and draperies that will match the color of the walls. I have also been searching for matching sofa sets for the living room, etc. The house has a small area but we'll try to make the dining area bigger so that I can also have dining room buffet cabinet placed within it. I also prefer to have dining room buffets during occasions, so I need to find ways on how to make it look bigger. Though I cannot still avail of any of these now, I am still on a look out for discount dining room buffet that I can avail anytime I have the budget already. Since the dining area is bigger, I can just go with a smaller compact kitchen. A place where all the basic things that I need is found.
So far, I feel really accomplished with our house. It might not be that complete yet but it is still way better than sharing my home with my in-laws.
