things associated with my pregnancy

We have been waiting to be pregnant. Now that it's here, we can't explain how happy we have been. We've anticipated many things with pregnancy. We haven't thought only of the fun but the thrills, the risks and the expenses as well. Now that we are into it, we are already starting our point.

The fun is the first and best thing that we associate pregnancy with. The long wait was really worth it. The experience of visiting the doctor, not for a scheduled work up but for a pre-natal check up was indeed better. The ultrasound to check for the baby's heartbeat and picture was way better than measuring eggs or egg monitoring.

Risks are also associated with pregnancy. But what I learned about it is that, it is always better to prevent something from happening rather than working on something that already happened. I would rather stay in bed, doing nothing for 2 long weeks rather than staying up and risking the baby's status.

Lastly, expenses come along with pregnancy too. We have been saving for the work-ups and it seems similar to pregnancy as well that is why it is not that new to us. The only difference is that, we can stop the work-up in case we feel that we haven't saved enough for it. With pregnancy, its always a go-go stage. We cannot stop in the middle because of lack of funds... instead we find ways to fill up for the expenses, even if we need to avail for a cash advance loan, we will gladly do it. So far, our expenses are mostly for check-ups, pre-natal medicines and vitamins and laboratory tests. Our only major expenses will be on January when I deliver the baby.

So far, these are the things that I can associate my pregnancy with.
