What do you love most about being married?

I can say that being married is one the best decisions I made in my life... plus the fact that I chose a good person to be my husband.

1. In the beginning, I love the feeling of being married because this is the only time that my parents (especially my dad) does not have to monitor me whenever I go out or I am with somebody else. It was a blessing that my parents doesn't have to worry so much about me anymore. I guess this was the stage when they finally realized that I am already mature enough to take care of myself.

2. Another reason is that I can go anywhere for several days without worrying of someone looking for me. It makes me feel more secure with the thought that someone out there is with me and he will never let anything bad happen to me.

3. The feeling of having to have someone on my side, whatever time of the day. I love waking up in the morning seeing my husband beside me sleeping soundly. I love going to bed at night because I know that whenever I feel cold, there is someone who will hug me in my sleep.

4. I love being married because I found a partner, a 'kasangga', a 'sumbungan', a 'kakampi'. I know that whatever my decision is, as long as we both agree on it, we will always stand by each other. Life's challenges have been easier to deal with because I know that there is someone who will divide the heartaches with me, who will multiply the happiness with me.

5.  I love being married because he completes me. He stands up for me whenever I feel low. He talks for me when I cannot express what I wanted to say. He smiles for me when he knows that it is difficult for me to bring that smile on my face.

6. Lastly, I love being married because being with G assures me that we can have our family started. I cannot make a house a home if there is no father who will stand for the family. I cannot manage a home properly if there is no good provider around. I cannot continue life is something is missing in me.
