buying baby stuff
I am only on my 14 week and I could say that it is still too early to buy baby stuff... but G thinks otherwise. For him, the earlier the better since we won't have to cram when time comes. He has a point but I told him that we should wait and get to know the gender first but he insists... since I hate arguments, I let him do whatever he wanted for the baby...
The firsts in our list are the things that we need when the baby comes out. We need the basic ones like clothes, diapers (disposable and cloth diapers) and feeding bottles (which reminds me, I still don't have the copy of our must-haves). We are still contemplating if we should buy a baby crib since in one discussion in my yahoogroup, baby cribs and travel cots are usually among the items that mothers bought which is seldom used (some are not even used at all). In case we would, this is something my mom will sponsor. She had promised me before that she would buy her apo the wooden crib that I've been checking out since my niece MJ was still inside her mom's tummy. In addition, we are also scouting now for pushchairs that we can afford. This is an essential for sure because as early as now, we are already thinking of our future travel plans. I loved the twin pushchairs but I hope we will not need it in the future.
Again, I still have to check on the 'check-lists' so that we will buy the essentials first and so we can stick with our budget. Nice to haves can follow or we can just request close friends and relatives to buy it for us.
