weekend get-away
This Saturday was different from our other weekends. We started by attending a children's party. It was the 2nd birthday of David (G's boss' son). I was vary happy to see familiar faces again. I wasn't able to join the company event last May because I had to have my bed rest that time. I missed their company and the wives' chika sessions... The birthday was held at McDo San Pedro. It was a simple event but David was so behave during his party. He was just in front, looking at his guests but at the same time he was already having a taste of his cake. He was dipping his fingers on the icing and licking it
The party ended at around 1 pm already.
After the birthday party, we went to Sta. Rosa to check on the house (again). There were no changes since we last visited it, a couple of weeks ago. The engineering department was not able to install our ceiling because they lacked materials, screws for that matter. They just told us that they will just inform us if the supplies arrive within next week... hay...
So, to pacify our emotions we headed to SM Sta. Rosa instead. We would just have to eat something before going home but when we saw that the Infant Department were having sale, we decided to check it out. Everything were on 10% discount up. Since we don't know what to buy yet (and we haven't identified baby's gender), we just bought some infant clothes. We got some shirts with ties on the side, a couple of socks, onesies and some cloth diapers. Even if I wanted to buy more, I have no idea which ones to buy. I would have even dug on the 50% clothes if I only knew baby's gender already. We also started checking on the cribs and strollers on sale. I saw one that I really liked but we have to wait further. We do not want investing on these items for now... but on the other side of my mind, I was thinking that if only I have a high limit credit card, I might have grabbed the opportunity of the sale period.
All in all, I was already happy with the baby stuff that we bought. At least we were able to start with few pieces. The next time we will go out, I'll make sure that I'll bring my checklist with me
