girls' day out
One of my friends Jaily and her daughter Alyssa is in Manila now so the 'barkada' decided to meet up tomorrow for a girls' day out. While we were on the phone (we had teleconference, so you can imagine how noisy we were on line), we talked about the plan. Rochelle suggested that everyone take a half-day since this is the only chance we have. I am expected to be there ahead of everyone else since I do not work and I live in Laguna. I also need to be early so that I can get off earlier than the rest. While talking (still over the phone), I was telling them how big I've grown and everyone else insisted that they are still bigger. The conversation even got to the point wherein weight loss pill was mentioned as an option.
Nwei, I know that there will be more stories to share tomorrow. It will be another bonding time for us. The last time I met with my friends was last May. A week before I discovered that I was pregnant. After that, I was already absent in most meetings... I hope that G will allow me to attend tomorrow's lakad (crossing my fingers and toes close)...
