People say that weddings are for the women... it is because most of the ideas come from the girl and it is seldom that grooms have the say. On our part, it was a mutual decision for both of us. Everything was consulted because we do not want to end up fighting because of our choices. One of the discussions include the attire for the day. G would like to wear something black on our wedding day. He wanted a suit similar to a tuxedo but not that hot so he opted to have his own creation
He doesn't want to wear barong because the rest of the entourage will wear one. He wanted to be different and be identified as the groom. So on the day, he got what he wanted. He was very comfortable with his attire and was glad that he was able to incorporate what he wanted.These days, we talk about renewing our vows when we reach our 10th year. By that time, we hope to have an ading for baby Gwenks already. We hope to have a ring bearer to complete our entourage. The renewal will be a family affair and it would either be a beach wedding or a garden wedding. Something really different from our previous weddings... still, it is a mutual decision. We have our own say on everything.
