personal numbers

I have difficulty in memorizing numbers nowadays. Not so long ago, G gave me their home phone number so that I can still contact him even his cellphone's battery is drained. He gave me their number but I told him that I couldn't memorize it... so instead of giving me the actual numbers, he gave me his own version. He said that I should just call 869-TURN (which turned out to be, 869-8876). I thought it was cool so I tried to make my own version from our landline number or even from my cellphone number. But no matter how I try, I just couldn't make out any from it.

Today, I think it is a very good marketing for promos and contests when they use numbers that are easy to remember. Take the case of American Idol, you simply text your votes to 55555 (5 5's). It is very convenient as well as promising advertisement. No more worries on memorizing long and difficult numbers, just Shortcodes that are associated with what you are selling and offering your customers.

I heard that if ever you wanted to avail of services of having your own number, you can inquire from Cellit Mobile Marketing. This is a company that specializes in providing personal numbers to interested companies. This is very ideal for mobile marketing strategies like advertisements and promos.

If you are into a business now, this is the best way to start making yourself known. With simple numbers, you can now make your own identity that will put mark to clients. No more overpriced advertisement, you can even be 'in' with the present technology because you go with the flow of text messaging.

Now, since there are service providers that allow consumers to choose their own numbers, I make sure that I choose numbers that I can easily associate it with. I am now thinking of purchasing number with GMARI or 46274 in it. I am sure that my friends will easily remember it.
