waiting... patiently
I am already on my 38th week... and I need to deliver soon or I will be induced by Tuesday. If only I am
a 'regular' pregnant women, 38 weeks is still okay but since I acquired Gestational Diabetes, I need to deliver baby earlier. As of the last ultrasound, which was last Tuesday my dear daughter already weighs 7.7 lbs. A lot are saying that she is already big which makes me worry that I might not be able to deliver her normally. As much as possible, I really wanted to give birth normally because it has more benefits like easy healing. I wanted to take care of my child personally (and not expect the yaya at all). We (G and I) have been talking to her more lately. We have been telling her that she should come out sooner. I even got to the point of bribing her that we would visit a place similar to Westgate once she's out. Maybe, just maybe, she's clinging more to what her lola mommy told her that she should wait for her. My mom will arrive on Saturday which is 2 more days to go... I just can't wait...
This morning, I was hoping to take some walk around the neighborhood. Armed with my keys and an umbrella, I started by walking G to the nearest tricycle stand (he wanted to bring the van, but today is his 'coding' ban). After he was off, the rain started to pour in. This meant that we cannot continue with the walk. I just hope that I will not be lazy in the afternoon. I will just have to go to SM and walk there before I drop by again at my OBs clinic, to get the medicine that she is giving me to help me get into labor .

Oh I hope you can go into labor naturally! My daughter was 7.2 and six years later I gave birth to my son. He weighed 9.10 and no one ever knew! They did a diabetis test on him and he was fine...your daughter will be fine. Keep good healthy thoughts in your head!
