time management
When you are a housewife and a mom, you will really need to have a special schedule for your different chores. I would say that I multi-task a lot but these days, I am starting a new set of schedule. I still haven't got used to doing household chores and taking care of a baby. I try to catch sleep whenever my baby is sleeping. This leave me with several unattended chores. It helps that I have a house help but there are several things that she can't match my expectations.
So far, I only make sure that I prepare G's things in the morning. While baby is catching her sleep, I prepare G's uniform for the day and instruct the househelp of what she has to cook. We eat together and make sure to wake up baby before he leaves for work. If baby is still awake, I try to bring her out for a taste of the sunshine. I will later on bathe her and change her clothes then she goes back to sleep. By this time, I make sure that I already start posting and writing for my blog. I do this until baby wakes up again or its my time to pump her milk.
Afternoons, I usually spend sleeping. I need this because I am awake every 2 hours at night. I seldom wake G to help me with the baby because I know that he is also tired from work. In the evening, I squeeze in any household chores that I don't allow our helper to do like putting our clothes in the cabinet, etc. I also make sure to prepare the bottles that I might need in case baby Gwen won't latch or if she my milk won't be enough for her.
So far, I am satisfied with this routine. I won't need the help of Fentraphen for now. Besides, my mom is still here with us so I can just depend on her to oversee things most of the time.
